Mykah and Jacob \\ Fall Engagement Photos Lansing MI

Mykah & Jacob met when they were 16 and describe their story as love at first sight. They basically went on a first date and haven’t stopped seeing each other since. Their energy was bright, happy, connected. Like they were on a planet just the two of them. Before 25 years old, they’ve gone through moving- separately, years of hard work and staying connected while at separate colleges, multiple job changes, and now an engagement and wedding planning all while balancing the unique challenges of being hours away from each other. They’ve stayed together and happy the entire time. As they looked for photographers in Lansing mi, they found my website and reportedly said “she gets it. she gets the vibe. we have to have her”

They hoped to have their wedding and engagement photographer photograph their lansing mi ceremony, following them to st johns for their reception, so hiring a lansing wedding photographers was important to them. They wanted to make sure their wedding photographer could see the beauty in lansing & document the magic they continue to experience together in humble lansing mi. Focusing on documenting how close they are, how in love they are and the absolutely mf palpable energy between them, I popped over to Grand Ledge and we explored a few spots where they used to hang as teenagers together! They showed me their favorite coffee shop, we played with some cool light and surroundings. After spending time with Mykah + Jacob, you know that what they have is real.
